1. What does your program cover?

     See following subject to policy terms and conditions.

     (a) Property: Comprehensive coverage for Real, Personal and Business Interruption.
     RHA's program is a layered arrangement, per occurrence, shared limits:

  • $500 million “All Risks” per occurrence. There are lower limits for some perils (Earthquake, Flood, and Wind, for example).
  • Boiler & Machinery: $100 million limit with various sub-limits.

     Features:

  • Golf courses are covered at $250,000 per-hole limit, $2 million per resort; overall occurrence limit of $6 million
  • Plants, trees and shrubs covered at $2,500 per plant, tree or shrub; $2 million per resort; overall occurrence limit of $6 million.
  • Interruption by Civil Authority/Ingress and Egress.
  • $100 million Demolition and Increased Cost of Construction.
  • Property in Transit.
  • Contingent Business Interruption/Extra expense.
  • Off Premises Power Interruption.
  • $250,000 sub-limit for Loss of Income from Contagious Disease (i.e. E-coli).
  • EDP Coverages.
  • $10 million Builders Risk including Delayed Opening.
  • Extended Period of Indemnity.
  • Other various sub-limits included.

     (b) Casualty:

  • General Liability: Guest Accidents, Products, Innkeepers Legal Liability, Garage Keepers Legal Liability, Liquor Liability, Saddle Animals, Pesticides & Herbicides and Watercraft. Various Self-Insured Retentions are required.
  • Automobile Liability and Physical Damage: $2,500 minimum Auto Liability Deductible required. $1,000 Deductible for Comprehensive/Collision.
  • Umbrella/Excess Liability: $200 million per location aggregate.

     (c) Pollution Legal Liability: Above/below-ground tanks.

     (d) Employment Practices Liability Insurance.

  • Prior Acts Coverage

  • Third Party Coverage (Example: ADA claims)
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
  • Aggressive Rates and Deductibles
  • Limits to fit individual RHA member requirements

2. Does RHA require new business applications?

     Yes. Refer to web site. RHA does not accept Acord applications.

3. Does RHA pay commission to brokers and agents?

     No. RHA provides premium quotes to retail brokers/agents excluding commissions.      Broker/Agent Service Fees are negotiated and reimbursed by the member on a
     fee-basis to the broker.

4. What are the renewal dates?

     (a) Property: February 28

     (b) Casualty: June 1

     (c) Pollution: December 13

     (d) EPLI: August 1

     (e) Personnel Umbrella: February 11

     RHA brings new members in mid-term by pro-rating annual premiums to RHA's program
     anniversary dates. RHA's quotes list annual premium along with the pro-rated amount
     as applicable.

5. What is RHA's buying power?

     (a) Number of Resorts: › 120

     (b) Property: Greater than $5 Billion in Property Values

     (c) Rooms: › 22,000

     (d) Number of Autos: › 1,700

6. Does RHA have a membership fee?

     Yes. $1,000 annual dues. All members are required to sign an RHA Membership
     Agreement and Bylaws.
